How Can We Help?
How do I make an appointment?
Phone our friendly reception team on (07) 3397 9999. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.
Once you have booked an appointment, we will require you to complete a Patient Registration Form and email this back to us: reception@phoenixplasticsurgery.com.au
Do I need a referral?
A referral is required for all medical consultations and procedures. A GP referral is valid for 12 months and a Specialist referral is valid for 3 months. A referral is also essential for claiming your Medicare rebate.
Please note: Cosmetic consultations (i.e. there is no medical reason for your consultation / surgery) are not covered by either Medicare or your private health insurance. These appointments still require a referral.
How many times do I need to see Dr. Bayley?
Dr Bayley will see you for a consultation prior to performing any surgery. We allow 15 minutes for skin cancers and 45-60 minutes for all other procedures. If you are undergoing cosmetic surgery, a second 30 minute consultation is required prior to surgery. This gives you the opportunity to go over any more questions you have, finalise surgery paperwork and be fitted for any garments.
Dr Bayley or his nurse will then see you again after surgery and the frequency of this will depend on the type of surgery you have had. Post-operative costs are included in the original surgeon fee.
